CUSP elections and meeting notes

In line with the CUSP constitution, we invited applications to join the panel as we reached our second anniversary. Two members - James Mills and Paul Moffat - decided not to stand, leaving six current members. We received applications from three potential candidates, one of whom subsequently withdrew due to work commitments. That left eight candidates and, as outlined in the constitution, this removed the need for an election, which is only required when the number of nominated candidates exceeds eleven. We are delighted to welcome new members Jason Petch and Ben Phillips to the panel and look forward to working with them in the next term. You can read the CUSP members' bios here.

Following this outcome, the first internal meeting of the new CUSP was held on 4 August and the notes from this meeting are available here. The new officers were elected at this meeting and they are as follows: Ben Payne will be Chairman, David Burkett will be Vice-Chairman, and Philip Saich will remain as Secretary.
